If you’re expecting twins, congratulations! You’re one of the lucky few who shoot out two babies at once and go into labor just once! it’s exciting news but twins can also be a handful. If you’ve decided on a twin bassinet, look no further. We have a short list of three different twin bassinets that made it onto our favorites list. Our Favorite Twin Bassinets:
Graco Pack ’n Play Playard Mason
Gracco is America’s best selling playard and bassinet for twins. It has wheels allowing you to move it from room to room, making it comfortable to have your twins with you at all times.
However we do want to note, you can’t use the playard and bassinet simultaneously. You actually have to remove a few screws to turn it into a playard. Once, your twins become to big for the bassinets, you can remove a few screws and convert it.
The height of the bassinet gets a big thumbs up from moms. After carrying twins, and possibly undergoing a C-Section it can be difficult to lift not one but two babies from the floor. The height of this bassinet makes it easy and doesn’t put any strain on your back.
Baby Trend Twin Bassinet Nursery Center
Let’s be real this truly is a baby center as the name implies.
The Baby Trend has two removable rocking bassinets with handles. Allowing you to easily lift them out and take them with you around the house. You can also wheel the bassinets from room to room (and yes, brakes are included to keep the bassinet from moving.) Each bassinet converts to a stand alone rocker and includes a canopy with two hanging toys and a electronic music center with volume control, nightlight and vibration.
Doubling as a changing table and an organizer. The twin bassinet includes a changing table just a flip-away, its easy to put together and comfortable to change your baby in. The lower half of this nursery center can be used to keep your babies items near by and organized.
Halo Bassinet Twin Sleeper Double Bassinet
The Halo twin sleeper is a great space savior, its not as bulky as many other twin bassinets yet it still offers a spacious sleep area for your twins. The mesh sides all around offers breathability and airiness. Plus it allows you to take little sneak peaks throughout the day and night.
Being a co-sleeper the mesh walls can be very comfortable. You can view your babies through the mesh while laying down.
The Halo also offers adjustability in height, going from a range of 24 to 34 inches in height, fitting most beds. Not only can you adjust the height but you can also rotate the bassinet a full 360 degrees. This allows you to give personal attention to each baby or easily feed one baby and then the other.
It comes with 2 comfortable and waterproof (yay!) mattress’s and 2 fitted bed sheets. It doesn’t have much storage space but there are 2 pockets on each side so you can keep a few clean diapers there. A nightlight with 2 presets, music with 3 lullabies, 3 nature sounds, and 2 levels of vibration are all included. Unfortunately, many parents have noted the battery life, saying it’s short lived but we didn’t have any issues with that. It is on the heavy side, weighing a total of 55 pounds once fully assembled, which we don’t love. However, the halo is still a winner for its mesh sides, adjustable height, and 360 degree rotation.
